According to Dr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the Expert Committee on Aviation & Tourism and STIC Travel Group, said that “This visit should iron out the differences and misunderstandings that may have existed.” He also said, “India’s outbound travel market is about 25 million and Indian tourist prefer destinations where they are welcomed and where there are no visa restrictions.”
Dr. Goyal further adds that “the acceptance of Indian Rupees will help Indian tourists to visit Maldives in large numbers.
